Christmas bag packing at Co-operative
The Co-operative at Park Farm Centre, Allestree offered us bag packing at Christmas.
A small group of 5 of the troop attended, and raised money for our ‘Save our Hall’ fund.
Thank you to the Co-operative and its customers for their huge generosity and support for our cause.
We raised a £194.05.
Carol singing and bag packing
The Beavers scouts did an amazing job with their carol singing at Derby Meteor Centre – Morrisons supermarket on Wednesday 14th December raising funds for our ‘Save our Hall’ campaign. Scouts and Cubs contributed too, bag packing on the tills. Many thanks to all who took part, and thanks to Morrisons for letting us come and all of Morrisons customers who were very generous in their donations to our cause.

Abseil at Miller’s Dale
Weather was kind to us, on a lovely Saturday Autumn day at Miller’s Dale. The scouts took part in an Abseil from Miller’s Dale viaduct over the stream below.
